Dermal Fillers

We use various dermal fillers used at Fixx Medical Spa, primarily Juvederm, Radiesse, & Evolence. Injectable Fillers add volume to areas that need it. Aging contributes to a loss of volume and refilling depleted areas adds back that youthful look. Injectable dermal fillers can dramatically improve the angles of the face. The choices for fillers are numerous and we are continually adding more choices as the need arises. In the past Collagen was the gold standard in fillers in the US. It is making a comeback with the porcine collagen that has little swelling and bruising associated with it. Hyaluronic acids are also very popular and have been used in Europe extensively for years. Requiring no allergy testing, it binds up to 1000 times its weight in water, thus adding fullness and youthfulness to the skin. The fairly recent introduction of Radiesse, a calcium based filler, gives clients the option of a more lasting filler and purports to stimulate growth of the body’s own collagen.
