How does BleachBright System whiten teeth?

The BleachBright Teeth Whitening System utilizes a hydrogen peroxide bleach solution and blue light for activation to safely whiten teeth up to 8 shades.

 

Does it hurt?

Generally, there is no discomfort and the client is quite comfortable reclining during the treatment. If a client experiences sensitivity to the gums, although it is not dangerous, from a comfort level, they may opt to divide their sessions into segments. This means they would return on different day to complete their treatment.

 

What are the side effects?

Side effects generally are mild and may include tooth sensitivity and bleaching of the gums, both of which are temporary.

 

Is it safe?

As far as safety, yes, it is safe for the enamel of the teeth. In past years weakening and erosion of the enamel was a possibility with teeth whitening. But the patented BleachBright remineralization system actually maintains an alkaline condition in the mouth that prevents enamel erosion.

 

Will it whiten my caps?

While the use of peroxide might assist with removing surface stains, it will not make the cap, denture, implant or other man-made substance any whiter than it's original color.
